The Bosphorus 20″ Masters Series Ride is a dark, warm, low-pitched cymbal that produces a generous cushion of sound. The ping is a mellow, woody, “slap” and the cymbal body has a soft, giving feel when played. A wash of smoky undertones support the stick definition even during up tempo passages. A characteristically small, shallow bell along with a slightly curved profile recreates the historic sound commonly found in jazz, blues, and big-band music from the 30’s to the 60’s
